Mayfield Post Office 42066 - Temporarily Closed

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Note:  This alert pertains to the Mayfield Post Office in Mayfield Kentucky which was severely impacted by the series of tornadoes that occurred this past weekend across the Midwest and Atlantic areas. This severe weather system has also impacted other facilities in the Kentucky-West Virginia and Tennessee Districts. The Postal Service is diligently working to restore power in several places and additional alerts will be provided when impacts to our customers are identified.

All operations at the Mayfield Post Office are temporarily suspended until further notice due to damage sustained in Saturday’s tornado.

Residential and business customers throughout the area who have been displaced are encouraged to either put their mail on hold or temporarily change their address, depending on the circumstances. Hold Mail and Change of Address requests can be accessed online at usps.com.

Mayfield customers may pick up mail, packages, and Post Office Box mail at the Paducah Processing and Distribution Facility (P&DF).  Mayfield customers whose mail is on hold will be able to retrieve their mail during Saturday hours at the Dutch door in the Paducah P&DF lobby.
