Mid-Atlantic
The powerful storm has left nearly one million homes and businesses in the dark.
Drivers are running out of fuel and food after being stranded on a snowy highway
for hours a powerful winter storm shut down parts of I 95 in Virginia.
The closure forced hundreds of drivers to spend the night in their cars some
of them have been stuck on the highway since Monday morning the storm dumped
more than a foot in some areas which also caused headaches on the roads in the
regions of Virginia and Maryland. State police have responded to hundreds of
crashes, one crash which left 3 people dead. The storm also brought strong
winds that downed trees and power lines which killed two children when trees
fell on a home in Georgia. Tennessee winds and snow also caused widespread
