ALG Connect: Nor'easter To Bring Heavy Snow, Rain, High Winds, Coastal Flooding to East Coast

Nor'easter To Bring Heavy Snow, Rain, High Winds, Coastal Flooding to East Coast

A nor'easter will pack heavy snow, rain, potentially damaging winds and coastal flooding as it intensifies off the East Coast early this week. Sage's latest status is producing a winter storm mainly in the Great Lakes and interior Northeast. Rainfall is spreading up the mid-Atlantic coastline.

We expect the storm's worst impacts to peak Monday night into Tuesday and early Wednesday. The National Weather Service has issued winter storm warnings, winter storm watches and winter weather advisories for much of New York (not including New York City) as well as for central and southern New England and northeast Pennsylvania.

Monday: Snow will fall in the interior Northeast with rain closer to the Interstate 95 corridor from southeastern New England to the mid-Atlantic. Winds will likely increase along much of the Northeast Seaboard by Monday night.

Tuesday: Snow, heavy at times, will fall in most of New England and New York. Rain will mix with snow and then change to all snow in southern and coastal parts of New England, including

Boston. Strong winds are expected, particularly in coastal New England, but also in much of the Northeast.

Wednesday: Snow showers and strong winds could linger in New England at least early in the day.

We recognize the severe impact that current conditions are having on our customers, and we are committed to restoring service levels as quickly as possible. As a result of these weather issues, the ALG Client Service Team will send daily updates as we monitor the progress and track job level impact.
