Unload Delays at Kansas City, MO

and Louisville, KY Processing Facilities

Due to recent snow events (cited in the December 2 Industry Alert) that caused widespread, extended hazardous driving conditions and road closures through Tuesday, heavier volume arrivals have occurred over the last two days. The Kansas City, MO Regional Processing & Distribution Center and the Louisville, KY Processing & Distribution Center are experiencing delays with unloading inbound trailers. 

Drop Ship Customers should expect delays at these locations.  Mailers and shippers should review their load queue and plan for longer wait times through December 5.  Please continue to contact the FAST Helpdesk if delays are experienced. 

We are taking immediate action to reduce the unload times at both facilities through adjustments with staffing, planned offloads, and arrangements for alternate drop locations to alleviate inbound congestion.

Customers are encouraged to enter originating mail and packages (Origin Entry) at the alternate locations identified below.

• For the Kansas City, MO Regional Processing & Distribution Center, alternate locations include:

• Oklahoma City, OK Processing & Distribution Center, NASS Code 730
• Des Moines, IA Network Distribution Center, NASS Code 50Z

• For the Louisville, KY Processing & Distribution Center, alternate locations include

• Springdale, OH Annex, NASS Code 452AX
• Memphis, TN Processing & Distribution Center, NASS Code 380
