ALG Connect:Next Clipper to Bring Snow, Ice, Wind to Midwest, Northeast

Next Clipper to Bring Snow, Ice, Wind to Midwest, Northeast

The next clipper will bring snow, ice and wind to the Midwest and Great Lakes Tuesday, shifting east and impacting the Northeast Wednesday, A swath of 3-5 inches looks likely for many with some locations seeing up to a foot of snow. On top of that, wind gusts more than 60 mph will be possible, leading to blizzard conditions and power outages in the bitter cold. If you must travel, make sure you always have a winter emergency kit with you.

Reinforcing shots of cold air will continue to dive into the Northern Plains and Midwest this week. The coldest air will move in Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and wind chills will drop well below zero for many, including Minneapolis, Chicago, Kansas City and St. Louis.

We recognize the severe impact that current conditions are having on our customers, and we are committed to restoring service levels as quickly as possible. As a result of these weather issues, the ALG Client Service Team will send daily updates as we monitor the progress and track job level.
